About Me

About me and who I work with

My background in psychology and my therapeutic work with children with learning differences led to further specialist training in the area of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy where I decided to specialise in work with adults.

People seek help for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes it’s because of one specific problem and sometimes it is a sense that things just don’t feel right, life feels unfulfilling or they feel unhappy in relationships and don’t know why. Psychotherapy provides a place to explore feelings and thoughts in a confidential and accepting setting alongside a therapist who has explored their own minds in depth and is available and motivated to understand the mind of the patient.

I lived in South East Asia for fifteen years and have experience of working with adults from a wide variety of different cultures.

I work with patients who suffer with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, issues around sex or sexuality and relationships.
